i feel for the person who started the thread, thats why the film i am doing now can run on the minimum of three people, even though i have 20 people organised on production.

also i think three days is a good choice for time, the fist day is good, by the second people are stressed and working hard, by the third day everyone wants to leave. the schedule starts at 6am, finishes at 11pm.

i think hard and fast is the best way.
and also lying to everyone about parts, roles etc. it's sneaky, but when it's your money it's justifiable, but violence is not........i reckon.

One thing that is hardly ever thought of is having a relief crew. It can add a boost to the regular crew to have a person or two show up 8 hours into a 14 hour day to help.

Kind of like when people washed up on Gilligan's island for one episode. It gives the regular crew hope that there is a way off of the island known as your movie.

The only way around this is to get his signature before you start. That way the f***er's tied into it. If you got to court like it has been suggested he'll just stand there and go, "What film?" Unless you have strong evidence that he has screwed you then its TS for you. If you're making a small film pick reliable people. If you're moving towards pro-film making then you've got to be pro in your attitude. It's your film, don't give anyone the chance to f**k you around and ruin your dream! I said god **** !
